Soup Of The Day 790/- (MUST TRY)


This soup was heaven. I’ve never had such a smooth, perfectly creamy chowder with the perfect amount of seasoning, it had bits of vegetables and fish pieces in it, which blended so well with the creaminess 




Seafood Platter For 1    4490/- 

Consisted of prawns, cuttlefish, corn, barramundi pumpkin and rice
The corn was perfectly roasted with the right amount of spice, which is not just butter and salt but proper spice so it was very different and very nice
Pumpkin also was quoted with the same, so it was very I didn’t feel like I was forced to eat the pumpkin. I really ate the pumpkin.
The prawns oh so buttery, but it did not come off the shell as easily, but still, it was so flavorful 
Paramont was perfectly pan fried with all the seasonings chefs kiss
Cuddle fish was good, but I found it a bit in the chewy side
Last but not the least the rise oh my God, I’m not a rice fan, but I can keep eating this rice. It was so soft, fluffy and fragrant. I can’t explain the flava. It had a little bit of sweetness, but it complimented very well with the entire dish.



Apple Mango Mojito 1190/- 


So usually mojito come with sprite which I find way too sweet when you add all the syrups. So I asked them to customize mine by adding soda, but I also think they didn’t add the apple flavor. So kind basically Tasted like a mango purée mojito with lime and a bit of soda. 




🤩Grilled Peri Peri Prawn 3390/- MUST TRY

Comes with 8 prawns with very strong peri peri sauce. Paella Rice and 

A choice of. Homemade Coleslaw/ mashed potatoes/ French fries. 


We opted with the coleslaw which was fresh cold and crunchy just perfect!

What is peri peri sauce? Peri Peri sauce is a traditional South African sauce made by Portuguese settlers to the area made with spicy African Bird's Eye chili peppers. It is also known as piri piri, or pili pili. It's perfect for any spicy food lover.

New year dinner for 4 pax without taxes - 50,000/- (12,500 per person)  It was undoubtedly a crowded evening at the Central Cafe in Shangila. We had booked appointments to eat there during the celebrations for the new year.
