"Priced at LKR 685, the hibiscus iced tea wasn't to my liking. It was overly sweet and had a scent reminiscent of bug spray, which I found off-putting. Definitely not my cup of tea!"

"For LKR 570, the Vimto was a bit disappointing. It's essentially a simple cordial, lacking that special something. Despite evoking nostalgic memories, it's not worth the price."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the chili, minced meat, and cheese manakish priced at LKR 1520. It had a delightful level of spiciness with minced beef, chilis, and cheese."

4⭐️The chicken and cheese manakish priced at LKR 1340

was quite enjoyable. Initially, I was unaware that manakish means pizza in Lebanese, so it resembled more of a lasagna pizza to me, with minced chicken and cheese. The portion size is akin to a personal pan pizza."

Central all day dining- Shangrila buffet

New year dinner for 4 pax without taxes - 50,000/- (12,500 per person)  It was undoubtedly a crowded evening at the Central Cafe in Shangila. We had booked appointments to eat there during the celebrations for the new year. As in usual days they have a variety of menu, but they yet again made it extravagant.  There were several meat carvings, including hog, turkey, and fish, along with a wide selection of sauces, veggies, pickles, and condiments and not mention the ice carvings that one can admire inclusive a cheese fountain.      In 1971, Malaysian entrepreneur Robert Kuok introduced the Shangri-La chain of hotels. The first Shangri-La hotel debuted in Singapore in 1971, and since then the company has grown to include hotels all over the world under its renowned luxury hotel brand. Consequently, you will find some foreign chefs and management maintaining the international standards and it also  adds a Singaporean and Hong Kong touch in their menu. Even tho...
