ISSO has truly elevated their menu offerings, creating an experience that's both visually stunning and appetizing. I particularly appreciated the incorporation of local edible flowers like butterfly pea, which added a unique touch.
STAFF are nice too
4🌟Jaffna Curry 🌶️🌶️
This is a spicy gravy, and I noticed that the cooking style is less creamy, which adds to its distinctiveness.
3.5🌟Passionfruit Drink – 895/-
I appreciate that their drinks now have a more natural taste, without adding carbonated drinks,
📝 just like the food, drinks too need a much appealing look, may a simple green garnish would have made the difference.
3.5🌟Jaffna Curry - Jackfruit 🌶️🥵 – 1395/-
The breadfruit curry was quite spicy, and the breadfruit itself had a texture that reminded me of soaked roti, which was unexpected. While the curry had a pronounced roasted spice flavor that I'm accustomed to, the unusual texture might not appeal to everyone. I’m uncertain if I would try it again, though others might enjoy
4🌟Tandoori Prawn Wrap – 2495/-
Juicy, tandoori-marinated grilled prawns were combined with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, fresh coriander, and a tangy curd dressing, all wrapped in a warm tortilla and served with sweet potato fries and kachumber salad (which closely resembles raita).
🤤Since the last time I had the sweet potato fries, they've significantly improved.
4.5🌟Prawn & Avocado Salad – 1695/-
The grilled prawns were cooked to perfection, resting on a bed of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, carrots, red cabbage, and guacamole, all dressed in a homemade vinaigrette. This dish is definitely one to reorder. I especially liked that they didn’t pre-mix the dressing, making it a more calorie-conscious option.
