5🤩 Passionfruit No-jito (1200/-)
This drink was a refreshing surprise—perfectly light with a natural passionfruit tang and just the right amount of crushed ice. I loved that they skipped the extra sugar, letting the fruit shine on its own. A great thirst-quencher!
Received a Complimentary bread basket, limited bread options while waiting for the food. I don’t think they serve this always for the guests.
🌟 Chicken Avocado Sandwich (3150/-)
Not spicy at all.
A satisfying blend of flavors featuring lightly spiced grilled chicken on a surprisingly soft ciabatta (a refreshing departure from the usual dense ones). This sandwich is complemented by a hint of brie cheese, fresh herbs aioli, and creamy avocado. It’s a soft, balanced delight, perfect for a light bite.
3⭐️ Pepper Steak (6000/-)
We tried the peppered Angus tenderloin, cooked to a medium as requested, accompanied by thinly sliced sautéed potatoes, grilled vegetables, and a green pepper sauce on the side.
📝A note for diners: it’s worth asking to keep the sauce separate. When it was poured directly over the steak, the intense vinegar-like taste of the sauce overwhelmed the meat’s flavor and soaked the vegetables, which diminished the experience.
3⭐️ French Toast Flambé (2900/-)
This dessert arrives with a bit of drama as the chef flambéed the sauce tableside with brandy. However, the rich, juicy brioche French toast—soaked in a sauce of strawberries, bananas, cashew nuts, and orange—felt mismatched with the orange sauce’s slightly bitter, citrusy profile. Although unique, the taste may not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer a sweeter finish.
( my friend is a light eater, and maybe had not experienced in having a different favor palette, so the words were, wooow this makes me feel
Like I want to poop”)
But ate an entire slice and was still was wondering if he likes it!)
4⭐️BLUE MOON (2530/-) was more of purple 🤓
This vibrant smoothie blends blueberry, banana, and bee honey with yogurt. Rich in antioxidants, it's the perfect creamy and chilled recovery drink. Detoxifying and delicious!
5🤩 GAMBAS POT 6450/- MUST TRY
Six enormous grilled king prawns are served with fresh chilies, garlic butter, and a rich lemon coconut sauce that is flavorful without being spicy. Adding a side of carbs would have elevated this dish, so we requested some steamed rice. Despite my preference for spicy food, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The dish also comes with a side of freshly cut salad featuring sweet capsicum, sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and zucchini, all drenched in lemon butter. However, the amount of oil used was excessive.
📝 Do consider reducing the oil.
You can choose fettuccine instead of penne pasta, which is tossed with mussels, calamari, shrimp, and white fish in a spicy marinara sauce. However, the dish was overly oily and not spicy enough for a Sri Lankan palate. The mussels were large but overcooked, making them tough and chewy, suggesting they weren't fresh. The prawns had a raw smell and a sweet taste that was off-putting. The pasta was served with toasted garlic bread, which seemed to have a hint of balsamic vinegar. While the dish had potential, the excessive oil means I wouldn't order it again.
4⭐️COCO CADO (1975/-)
This drink combines coconut water with honey, cocoa, oat milk, and creamy avocado. The color is less vibrant than expected, lacking the bright green hue.
Taste-wise, it was excellent. Chilled to perfection, it offered a subtle cocoa flavor, dominated by the creamy taste of avocado with the aftertaste of coconut water
Gambas al Ajillo has its roots in the southern regions of Spain, where seafood is a central part of the diet. With the country's extensive coastline, fresh shrimp are abundant, making this dish a natural evolution of local tastes and ingredients.
5🤩Prawn taco LKR 2995/- (MUST TRY)
The dish offered a choice of grilled or batter-fried large shrimp, served on soft flour tortillas with fresh avocado, spicy slaw, and homemade mango salsa. It turned out to be a sweet fiasco for my taste buds—in the best way possible! Definitely a reorder for me.
