Promotion cocktail 
4⭐️Asakanka’s kicking cocktail LKR 1595
Cocktails with passion fruit is always nice a tad bit sweeter and not at all fizzy. 

4⭐️Char grilled chicken LKR 2895 
We expected a proper char grilled chicken, but the beauty of that was covered with tomato garlic sauce, I opted for a garden salad, which was excellent! 1st time I tried a fresh turnip in a salad and tasted pretty good. 

Unusually the turnip and beer was super crunchy, wonder what’s their magic!

Next time do ask for the gravy on the side, if not your gonna miss out on the vision of the char grilled chicken breast!

The main difference between coleslaw and salad is that coleslaw always contains shredded cabbage, whereas salads do not necessarily contain cabbage.







👎🚫Bloody Mary - LKR 2,290 (Not Worth It)
The presentation was classic, with a generous shot of vodka that, unfortunately, was barely noticeable. The drink included the standard mix of tomato juice, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, and a salted rim, garnished with a lime wedge and a celery stick—although this was replaced with lemongrass, which felt like an odd choice.




3🌟Sangakkara Seafood - LKR 2,595
The dish has a strong seafood aroma, which may not appeal to everyone, and the crab was almost imperceptible. This penne pasta features seared fish, prawns, calamari, and crab in a lime-infused seafood cream sauce with Parmesan cheese. It comes with a choice of herb, garlic, or plain bread on the side, but overall, the taste might not be for everyone.



5🤩Beef Lasagna - LKR 2,150 (MUST TRY)
This dish offers warm and comforting individual portions of beef lasagna, layered with minced beef, fresh tomato purée, mozzarella, and béchamel sauce, creating a rich, satisfying flavor. It’s served with a crunchy coleslaw salad that has a delightful sweet and tangy dressing.



5🤩Boucher's Buffalo Wings - LKR 1,985 (MUST TRY)
A must-try! These American-style fried chicken wings come in a large portion of 16 pieces. They are tossed in a homemade BBQ hot sauce that delivers a rich blend of garlic, sweetness, and spice, perfectly complementing the dish.

Brightly lit and featuring a play area for kids with various toys and activities, this space aims to evoke nostalgia with its old Sinhala songs reminiscent of an old Kade. Staff Are nice and welcoming  3.5 ⭐️  Salmon Cheese Sandwich (700/-)  A basic sandwich served hot, with the perfect amount of spice. Although the cheese was hardly noticeable, I'll definitely order this again. 4.5 ⭐️  Latte (650/-)  A perfectly crafted, regular latte without sugar. It’s just right. 4 ⭐️  Coconut Latte (750/-)  I initially thought this would be made with coconut milk, but it’s a regular latte topped with desiccated coconut flakes. Central all day dining- Shangrila buffet

New year dinner for 4 pax without taxes - 50,000/- (12,500 per person)  It was undoubtedly a crowded evening at the Central Cafe in Shangila. We had booked appointments to eat there during the celebrations for the new year. As in usual days they have a variety of menu, but they yet again made it extravagant.  There were several meat carvings, including hog, turkey, and fish, along with a wide selection of sauces, veggies, pickles, and condiments and not mention the ice carvings that one can admire inclusive a cheese fountain.      In 1971, Malaysian entrepreneur Robert Kuok introduced the Shangri-La chain of hotels.
