a basic family restaurant and they have rooms too, i think the cheapest Indian/ food joint in town with ample space to sit
They didn't have any added taxes!! how come?? I'm not complaining because its better for my pocket
2.5⭐️Ice milo LKR 340/-
that's the cheapest milo I have had at a restaurant
Basic milo taste, way too sweet for me, but my fussy friend didn’t complain (diabetes in a glass)
3.5⭐️The naan LKR 170 each,
was pretty hard, but a generous portion
3.5⭐️The butter chicken masala LKR 960/-
The other places that I tried butter chicken, it tasted sweet, but this place I liked the flavor better
my friend said it must be old, but I didn’t find anything wrong. But still it's running in my head so 3.5 rating
4⭐️The chicken salad LKR 710/-
Pretty good portion, the chicken were more liked boiled. And it had extreme amount of lemon, which gave the salad that punch, and went well the other items we had ordered
Side note: Lots of onions, next one you can ask them to skip it 😅
2.5⭐️ Gulab Jamun (LKR 390 for 5 pcs): The price of the Gulab Jamun seems fair, but the taste fell short of expectations. It had a peculiar resemblance to smoked bread soaked in syrup.
👎 🚫Tuna Salad (LKR 760): Unfortunately, our rendezvous with the Tuna Salad left us a bit puzzled. Fresh and crunchy, yes, but something was amiss with the tuna. Its texture resembled a dry sponge, leaving us questioning what we were eating.
It's more reminiscent of sanja or jelly, not the traditional creamy pudding, but it still fares better than the Gulab Jamun.
