It was around 9.30pm which is quite late for Kandy people to go out for dinner & coinciding with the observance of Poson Poya Day gave us a limited choice.
When we arrived at the hotel, the atmosphere was calm, with only one other table occupied by diners engaged in quite conversation. We had heard about a delightful rooftop area but were informed that it was closed as the bar wasn't operational. As we settled in, a sudden encounter with a scurrying cockroach prompted us to swiftly relocate to another table. Eventually, after a wait of approximately 20 minutes, our food arrived.

4⭐️Seafood platter LKR 3500
The grilled seafood was cooked to perfection, showcasing the natural flavors of the ocean. The side of fries provided a comforting accompaniment, while the light butter sauce added a subtle touch of richness to enhance the overall taste. It was a pleasant and enjoyable seafood platter without unnecessary hype or exaggeration.
3.5✨Pot of hot chocolate LKR 750 ( I cant give a bad rating as its still chocolate)
The hot chocolate experience fell short of expectations in several aspects. (maybe because it was 11pm! and they wanted us to leave and were too polite)
Firstly, the staff poured the chocolate themselves instead of allowing customers to pour it, which took away the interactive and cozy element that was anticipated. The hot chocolate itself had a thin and watery consistency, lacking the rich and creamy texture that is typically desired. Additionally, it was served at a warm temperature rather than the hot temperature expected for a comforting hot chocolate. Overall, the hot chocolate failed to deliver on its promises, leaving a disappointing impression.
