Cinnamon lake side - sandwich bar at goodies

Step 1 - select the bread
Step 2 - Select the spread
Step 3 - select the veggies
Step 4 - they will assemble the sandwich for you

This sandwich below is filled 5🌟bright tandoori paneer, LKR 800 which tasted so good, it had the taste of cheese that had absorbed all that spice and tandoori, for the bread I chose a onion focaccia bread, and of course the salad on the side, this time it was a boy who served me, so I guess he thought I don't need the grilled veggies 🙁

FUN FACT
What is the difference between focaccia and regular bread?

Focaccia is baked at 475 degrees Fahrenheit, while the baking temperature for traditional bread is 248 degrees Fahrenheit. Focaccia does not get stale easily due to the high quantity of olive oil and other herbs, while traditional bread does. Regular bread is less expensive and has less gluten than focaccia

5🌟Tuna sandwich
The spread was very rich and creamy with hits of spices.
It was very good but for the price I'm not sure its worth it.

5🌟I choose the crispy whole meal LKR1100 with the same
cream tuna filling, and this time I asked the veggies on the side! And now I think the whole meal is worth the price! Some of them veggies were grilled and sautéed

The Americano at goodies is not very strong. I liked it.

FUN FACT

Who invented the first sandwich and why?
A Noble Beginning. In 1762, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich®, invented the meal that changed dining forever. As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands.

4🌟Spicy Tandoori chicken with bacon LKR

This bread is a kurakkan with coconut ciabatta, also though it didn't taste different as it was slathered with butter, and quashed on the heavy griller they have. (should ask them to keep the grill open just to grill the inner sandwich) Plenty of bacon, I loved it. (supposed to be  healthy!)

Central all day dining- Shangrila buffet

New year dinner for 4 pax without taxes - 50,000/- (12,500 per person)  It was undoubtedly a crowded evening at the Central Cafe in Shangila. We had booked appointments to eat there during the celebrations for the new year. As in usual days they have a variety of menu, but they yet again made it extravagant.  There were several meat carvings, including hog, turkey, and fish, along with a wide selection of sauces, veggies, pickles, and condiments and not mention the ice carvings that one can admire inclusive a cheese fountain.      In 1971, Malaysian entrepreneur Robert Kuok introduced the Shangri-La chain of hotels. The first Shangri-La hotel debuted in Singapore in 1971, and since then the company has grown to include hotels all over the world under its renowned luxury hotel brand. Consequently, you will find some foreign chefs and management maintaining the international standards and it also  adds a Singaporean and Hong Kong touch in their menu. Even tho...
