Upali’s by nawaloka - srilankan resturant

1. Ambiance - A basic family restaurant with a balcony where alcohol is served  They have a coffee shop next door too  2. Food presentation - good  3. Food taste - good  4. Staff - naveen sulakshana who served us, went well beyond with service. His approach was frisky and courteous above all concerned.  Example He fixed our shaking table, added another table to give us more space as there was less crowd being a Monday, we ordered a watermelon and beer so he asked since you are having beer do you need the watermelon? So he is a valuable asset!! 5. Washroom - unisex, clean & spacious bathroom 6. Kid friendly - 2 kids chairs  7. Halal - “All our meat suppliers are halal certified” “We don’t serve beef or pork, please note.” 8. THE GREAT INDIAN ROAST!  This menu was introduced for the Christmas 2022 - 23  one can experience the Indian grills and barbecues lets get to breakdown of the menu     —————————————- - Scrumptious spread  - Present staff  - Minimal & Plush deco - Halal  ————————————— 🙋‍♀️ MY POV  Let’s get into details  5🌟Mustard grilled cottage cheese. LKR 2200 A vegetarian dish, can go as a starter too, more on the dry side. The mint chutney is spicy mind you. 5🌟Paneer tikka butter masala, This dish is perfect if you vegetarian, and don’t like that much of spice like my friend, who is not used for spicy food as she get allergic.  5🌟 Chargrilled cauliflower LKR2050, was fab aswell, it had the crunch of the peanuts, which had a unique texture  4🌟Spices peanut chicken tikka LKR2850,  Grilled chicken in a gravy (sauce)  3🌟Ghee roast chicken seekh LRK2850,  This was a bit dry for me, but may be that’s how it’s suppose to taste.

CHOCOHOLICS

CHOCOHOLICS is one the all time favorite spot for chocolate cravings to be satisfied, but the amount of every item we purchased, however, astonished me! It reminds of Alice in Wonderland. Everything had contracted. It seems to be a cost-saving measure. LKR 1250 for cinnamon pancakes 5*  The chocolate shot was sufficient for the full stack this time, as it had shrunk because to the expense. These were as normal. The size was decreased instead of the price being raised. My least favorite item was the iced walnut brownie, which cost LKR 950. It was very sugary and tasted odd. Was this because they had added some type of walnut essence? Pan for brownies and cookies LKR 1450/- came in a nice pan, had two layers—the bottom layer was a brownie, and the top layer was a cookie. It also featured chocolate shot and ice cream. Only the size is a complaint about that.      10% service charge applicable  . . . FUN FACT  . . . Why was chocolate only for the rich? Ramada high tea & dinner menu

4🌟International dinner buffet LKR 4000/-po  Dinner was consisted of rice, pasta, kothu, and Indian food, and the curries were plenty compared for the price  Pumpkin soup was like a broth unlike other places.  The desserts were  quite delish and I could not post all what that was there!  4🌟Cappuccino Martini - 1800/- This drink blends dark rum, crème de cacao, and a shot of espresso with half & half, creating a smooth cocktail. Although the alcohol presence is subtle, the lack of sugar and the gentle coffee essence make it a delightful option. It's neither too bitter nor too sweet—just the right balance. Definitely worth trying for those who appreciate a refined, coffee-infused drink. 4🌟Mojito - 1200/- Made with Rockland White Rum, lime juice, simple syrup, soda, and muddled mint leaves, this mojito leans on the sweeter side. The soda, replaced by Sprite, adds an unexpected sweetness, which might not be ideal for traditional mojito lovers. It wasn't my favorite due to t
